1950's Spanish FR7
After WW2 Spain seeing the rest of European nations moving towards semi automatic rifles as their standard issue decide to follow suit. Having stockpiles of older mauser type rifles and the new CETME rifles not being available in substantive numbers the Spanish decide to covert their obsolescent mauser rifles in to the FR7 and FR8. Basically a stop gap training rifle the FR7 possess many of the features of the CETME
- both used the same bayonet
- both have diopter rear sights
- both have the same wire cutter muzzle break
- both are capable of blank firing grenades
This example is in very good to excellent condition with matching numbers on the bolt and receiver, stock is in very good condition with only minor handling marks, barrel shines and has sharp rifling.
